For many years Engage has been at the forefront of soil and substrate management as across the world and we have seen that over time, biodiversity in soils is steadily dropping at an alarming rate. Reduced biodiversity drop, we know, is due to lower levels of organic matter, humates and organic acids. This leads to lower available silicates and organic compounds for crops and soil micro-flora/fauna to interact with, to create a dynamic soil ecosystem.
Reduced soil biodiversity is resulting in less productive soils and substrates which yield lower crop potential, poorer quality and less nutritious produce which in turn can result in health consequences for humans and animals. Add to this increased input costs from required supplementary nutrition and higher pesticide requirement for stressed crops and we see a system in need of help.
With a steadily increasing world population and greater demand for cereals, vegetable and fruits as diets change across the world, Engage are focused on a soil and substrate development programme designed to replenish soils by redressing what has been lost over time to support increase crop strength, quality, yielding more nutritious produce.

Fortify Cu
Fortify Cu (7-16-0+1.5% Cu) is a unique formulation of nitrogen phosphorus, copper and halide ions which complement each other to support plant growth, support crop health and reduce yield loss. With programmed application Fortify Cu will aid vascular flow, support root growth, maintain established yield and reduce susceptibility to carrot and parsnip disease infection.
Bio-Chel Ca
The worlds most concentrated calcium chelate is completely organically formulated from a sustainable, renewable resource and is 100% pure available calcium.
Being 100% calcium and organic means its acceptance by plants could not be higher so application efficacy is ensured. Also due to the strong organic chelation of Bio-Chel Ca is non-reactive making is ideal for application within all nutrient and foliar plant protection products.
Bio-Chel also contains natural surface active compounds which breakdown surface tension of water allowing even distribution across the leaf surface removing the need for adjuvants in sprays where Bio-Chel Ca is used.
MAS-Power B+Mo
MAS-Power B+Mo is a balanced formulation, which maximises boron nutrient use efficiency. A proprietary formulation which breaks away from traditional, single element products, and provides a complete support package required by the plant. Provides a superior boron delivery system which addresses plant health and abiotic stresses as well as maximising the yield potential of the crop.
Improves the quality of the spray tank environment resulting in good chemical compatibility and improved availability of select products. Contains molybdenum which is commonly associated with boron.
Sentinel
Sentinel is a 10% targeted foliar Silicon is based upon the delivery of mono-silicic and salicylic acid to the crop. This is the only form of silicon plants will accept and its affects are highly beneficial to all cereals. Once applied it is stored by the plants help to build resilient cells which act as a physical barrier for the crop to help reduce both susceptibility to disease infection and predation from insect pests.
MAS-Power KS
MAS-Power KS is a unique potassium and sulphur formulation designed for use as a premium foliar nutrient spray combined with Engage’s MAS Anti Stress, assimilation system. This advanced formulation maximises efficacy of the formulation by aiding the penetration, distribution and assimilation of the potassium and sulphur by the plant. MAS also aids plant health and reinforces crop stress tolerance
Fortify Maxx
Fortify Maxx is a package of three chelated micronutrients and unique to Engage, plant extracts called ‘Phenophites’ taken from specific plant species naturally attuned to withstanding higher levels of abiotic and biotic stress. Used via irrigation or foliarly applied, the nutritional/phenophite package works in combination to increase the natural production of phenolic compounds from secondary pathways to significantly limit a plants susceptibility to stress of any kind.
Unlike inorganic secondary pathway stimulants, Fortify Maxx does not create a residue as all the formulation is used by the growing crop.
Brix-Builder
An organic crop support aid ideal for use on root crops especially during root expansion and maturation. Brix-Builder is a combination of naturally occurring bio-stimulant materials designed to aid specific stages of crop growth. It is rich in alginates, organic chelating agents, natural plant sugars, amino acids, polypeptides, vitamins and naturally occurring cytokinins. It will maximise any growth process by adding and stimulating carbohydrate production and mobility.
Brix-Builder in carrots and parsnips will increase sugar levels and taproot size if applied during the expansion period and will aid growth during periods of poor weather. Later applications during fruit maturation will increase brix levels leading up to harvest.
